BBVA reinforces its commitment to the franchise sector as the main sponsor of the Franchise Innovation Summit
- BBVA reaffirms its commitment to the entire value chain of
the franchise sector and announces its sponsorship of what it aims to become the new
benchmark event for the sector, the Franchise Innovation Summit (FIS), a forum organised by the
Spanish Franchise Association (AEF), which will hold its first edition in
Madrid on 13 and 14 November
Madrid, 1 October 2024
The Franchise Innovation Summit has been created to become a benchmark for the professionalisation of the sector and a driving force for new opportunities. BBVA’s participation not only underpins its strategy of supporting this sector, but also brings its expertise in digital transformation to bear, helping franchises to adapt and grow in an increasingly competitive market, whilst committing to being the leading financial player on the path towards a green and just transition for all.
The FIS is designed to help revitalise the franchise sector and provide a forum for debate and networking, bringing together the key players across the entire value chain of the franchise sector.
BBVA is joining FIS2024 to promote innovation, digitalisation and the sustainable expansion of franchises and the SME sector in Spain. The bank provides comprehensive support to both franchisors and franchisees throughout all stages of the business lifecycle, from the initial idea through to consolidation, with the aim of helping SMEs and the self-employed to start their own businesses.
“For BBVA, being part of FIS is more than just a sponsorship; it is an opportunity to support an entire industry, providing innovative tools and solutions—including financial ones—with an offering tailored to their needs. We want to support franchisors, franchisees and future entrepreneurs on their path to success”
María Eugenia López, Head of Specialised SME Business at BBVA in Spain
