Amazon Hub Delivery: The collaboration model that allows you to scale quickly by taking advantage of the capillarity of local businesses

Franchise Innovation Summit | FIS

Madrid, June 12, 2026

Last-mile efficiency no longer depends only on large fleets, but on the community itself. With this premise, Amazon Hub Delivery is consolidating in Spain, a pioneering program that transforms traditional physical businesses into the ones responsible for delivering packages directly in their own neighborhoods. These establishments leverage their local roots and knowledge of the area to manage final home delivery, generating an ultra-efficient logistics network while diversifying their revenue. To learn in depth how this model boosts local commerce, we spoke with Cláudia Veiga Dias, EU Hub Delivery Director, who details the impact and future of this strategic alliance in our country.

To start, how would you define your brand concept and what does it represent today within your sector?

Hub Delivery is Amazon’s program that collaborates with small local businesses in last-mile delivery. We allow physical stores to deliver Amazon customer orders in their neighborhood, generating additional income for them without needing large investments.

What problem or need do you solve and why does your model work well as a collaboration?

We solve two needs simultaneously: for Amazon, we expand our delivery capacity; for local businesses, we offer an additional source of income leveraging their existing resources.

How was the brand born and at what point did you decide to bet on the collaboration model?

Hub Delivery was born from the need to expand coverage in rural areas where we don’t have nearby logistics stations. The collaboration model allows scaling quickly by leveraging the capillarity of local businesses that already know their territory perfectly. And it helps us bring products closer to rural communities.

What is the brand’s DNA that anyone who wants to join your network should understand?

Hub Delivery’s DNA is customer obsession, operational efficiency, and commitment to the local community. We look for partners who share these values and see the opportunity to grow alongside Amazon.

What level of daily involvement does the partner’s day-to-day require?

Their involvement is low since they only need a couple of hours a day to be able to deliver in an area near their business from Monday to Saturday, and it will always be compatible with their main activity. We give them every facility since they have access to Amazon’s applications and technology.

What type of profile fits best with Hub Delivery today?

We collaborate with all types of businesses in both rural and urban areas.

What skills or attitudes are most important for success with your brand?

Commitment to quality of service in their community.

Is it necessary to come from the sector or do you offer training from scratch?

Logistics experience is not necessary. We offer training to our partners and support whenever they need it in their daily operations.

How do you support the partner from the moment they decide to join the brand?

Complete onboarding process with training in technology, delivery processes, and quality standards. From the app they use to make deliveries they have materials to continue training and a support service available 24/7.

What do your partners value most once they’re inside the network?

They especially value three aspects: the peace of mind of knowing they will receive weekly payments and the visibility their business receives from the very first moment.

What areas or cities are you prioritizing right now?

We are looking for partners throughout Spain, both in urban and rural areas.

If a business owner were listening to you right now, what would you tell them to encourage them to take the first step?

Hub Delivery allows you to collaborate with Amazon without transforming your business. You keep your main activity while generating additional income delivering in your neighborhood. Weekly payments, complete support, and the opportunity to be part of the world’s leading logistics ecosystem.

Where can someone who wants more information about Hub Delivery take the next step?

They can apply directly from the form on our website: Amazon.es/hubdelivery
We will review their application and get in touch with them to explain the program details, specific requirements, and opportunities available in their area.

How would you define the concept of Amazon Hub Delivery and what does this model bring to the businesses that participate in it?

Amazon Hub Delivery is a program that allows small physical stores to collaborate with Amazon by delivering packages in their area. We provide a predictable and constant additional source of income, without needing to transform the business or make large investments. Partners leverage their existing resources (employees, vehicles, neighborhood knowledge) to generate weekly income while maintaining their main activity.

What opportunities does the program generate for a business that decides to join Amazon Hub Delivery, both in terms of additional income and visibility and connection with the community?

Hub Delivery generates three main opportunities:
Guaranteed weekly payments for each package delivered, optimizing resources the business already has.
Brand visibility: By collaborating with Amazon, the business positions itself as the brand’s logistics partner, generating trust in the local community.
Community connection: Partners reinforce their role in the neighborhood by offering a proximity service, getting to know their neighbors. This strengthens the relationship with the community and positions the business as a local reference.

What business profile fits best in this program and what would you tell those who are considering taking that step today?

We look for business owners regardless of whether or not they have previous logistics experience.
To those considering the step: Hub Delivery allows you to collaborate with Amazon, maintaining your main activity while generating additional income delivering in your neighborhood. With more than 3,000 partners in Spain, the program is consolidated and expanding.
